STEM
STEM is an acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. STEM education is an interdisciplinary approach to learning, where children are introduced to the principles of the above disciplines through real-world, problem-based experiences in the classroom.
Our STEM activities provide hands-on and minds-on lessons for the students. They make math and science both fun and interesting, and help students do much more than just learn, by teaching them how to think critically and solve problems.
Our approach to the STEM disciplines includes Science which serves as a solid first introduction to the science fields, where students understand basic scientific principles, are encouraged to test their ideas, evaluate and judge results and gain a further understanding about how the world around them evolves.
Mathematics and Technology are incorporated in every lesson, introducing students to new subjects such as coding and robotics, and improves computer literacy.
Engineering is a big part of our STEM curriculum. Through construction challenges the students are encouraged to think creatively and to solve structural problems using a range of materials. This builds perseverance, inventiveness and analytical thinking, and in the end, gives the children a sense of achievement.
