The largest Public Speaking tournament of the year took place from March 12th to March 15th 2026, in Thessaloniki.
The Panhellenic Forensics Association Tournament attracts some of the brightest, most creative and dedicated students of our country, and our students are no exception. With an impressive delegation of 35 participants, our School takes great pride not only in their achievements, but above all in their passion and spirit.
In a tournament that hosted nearly 500 students from 25 schools, our team earned several notable distinctions:
- In Debate, our team of Maria Anna Thomaidou, Eleni Koulouridou, Natalia Papaioannou, Danai Oikonomou and Zoi Fournarou ranked 2nd in the preliminary rounds. Danai was the 4th best speaker overall, Eleni ranked 6th and Maria Anna 13th.
Our second team (Giannis Stathoulias, Panagiotis Gkavalis, Chrysanthi Rapti, Apostolos Voulgarakis and Menelaos Daskalakis) placed 10th overall.
- In Original Oratory, Giannis Rigas Markos received an Honourable Mention for his speech, while Danai Oikonomou and Chrysanthia Arvaniti tied in the 17th place.
- In Group Discussion, Sophia Pitsini earned an Honourable Mention for her excellent performance, while Alexia Triantafyllou placed 17th.
- In Impromptu Speaking, Danai Oikonomou also received an Honourable Mention, while Chara Maria Pantazopoulou, Chrysanthia Arvaniti and Maria Anna Thomaidou ranked 18th.
- In Comic Oral Interpretation of Literature, Maria Festa ranked 14th.
- In Dramatic Oral Interpretation of Literature, Christina Archontaki placed 12th.
- In Comic Duet Acting, Maritina Fraggou and Panagiotis Gkavalis were the 13th best duet of the tournament, and Christina Archontaki and Melina Maltezopoulou were the 15th best.
- In Dramatic Duet Acting, Evelina Koutsoviti and Konstantina Stavraki tied in 11th place with Elpiniki Tsamakou and Maria Eleni Gerakiti. Marios Stavridis and Stefania Keratsi were the 16th best duet.
These results are especially impressive given the scale of the tournament and reflect a generation of hardworking students who never cease to inspire us.
