Our English Theatre Society is an excellent way to introduce young students to the world of drama and engage them with various stories from theatre, literature, poetry, and everyday life. Students dive deep into them to explore the meanings of texts, to come to know themselves, their world, and their relation to it.
Through a process of experimentation, improvisation, and play, participants have fun, make friends, build confidence, develop their communication skills, learn to work together as a team and think creatively. And all this, while the child’s language and literacy skills also grow stronger.
What it truly means to be human and what it is like to walk in someone else's shoes are the main questions to unfold our stories and begin the journey of discovery!
At the end of the year, students put on a play for the whole school community to enjoy and we are proud to say that we have seen several hit productions in the past 20 years!
